September 28 – Featured on the podcast, Finding Favorites with Leah Jones: “Author Mike Keren loves cooking shows”
September 8th– Interviewed today by motivational speaker and consultant, Rick Clemons, for his podcast Life (Un)closeted. It is scheduled for release in early November. I will provide a link when I have it.
August 15 – Received a wonderful blurb from a fellow memoir author,
Michael Sadowski. Check out the Praise section on the Book page.
August 4th– Plans for the night of October 5th (the book’s release date) are shaping up. Definite schedule for a reading and book signing at Smoothie King, 462 Springfield Avenue in Summit from 5:30 to 7:00.
Also, hoping to do a later reading somewhere else in the area.
July 22 – Scheduled my first confirmed public reading. Will be reading
from “Four Funerals…” at the Provincetown Public Library on Saturday
October 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Book signing to follow.
July 21 – second podcast is in the can. Thank you Ben Tanzer for
inviting me on “This Podcast Will Change Your Life.” This has become one
of my favorite podcasts as Ben puts folks at ease and really gets them
to reveal how their life influences their writing and their writing
influences life. Will let you all know when the podcast is available as
soon as I know.
July 19 – Booked on the “Wrote” podcast, a podcast focused on LGBT
writing, writers and influencers. Will let you know the broadcast date.
June 9th – I did my first podcast interview for the book. Thank you to Wayne Goodman of “Queer Words” podcast. “QueerWords is a podcast focusing on queer writers and writing. It is one of a few podcasts the library of congress has chosen to catalogue. Broadcast date has not been set, but will post more details as they become available.

I received my first blurb back from a fellow author. It was so complimentary I think I blushed a bit. On another exciting note I received a commitment from a major GLBTQ influencer for a blurb for the book.
Another milestone as I sent the final proofread back to the publisher today. Now I wait for my advanced review copies to come in!
